This coffee table is made from the top and bottom part of an antique armoire. Furniture was made in pieces so it could be carried up narrow stairwells and through small doorways. I found both parts in a PA warehouse in completely different areas and didn't realize they went together until I was stacking everything in my truck. The center cabinetry section was never found. I don't mind - I love it like this.
